Typical with old perfume, a small amount of the perfume may have shrunk (solid) or evaporated within the bottle/compact due to age and or storage.

I cannot guarantee the contents of the bottle or compact. Perfumes over 3 years start to lose their freshness and may start to smell like alcohol or have a pungent unpleasant odor. Certain ingredients and compounds will break down and "turn" faster than others. The older the perfume, the less it may smell like what you may remember. I will secure the top of the bottle using tape which does not leave adhesive on the bottle.
